Job summary

Manpower UK in Workington is seeking a Rework / Material Recycling Operative for a day shift. The role is a temporary assignment lasting approximately 3 months with possible extension, supporting the site with rework and recycling tasks within a production team.

Applicants must hold a valid FLT licence, be safety conscious and able to work Monday to Friday, 8.00am–4.00pm. Pay is £13.65 per hour with no shift work and potential extension if the workload allows.

Qualifications

• FLT licence valid and in-date is required for the role.
• Safety conscious with the ability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Reliable and able to commit to the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out rework activities on production materials.
• Sort, handle and prepare materials for recycling or reprocessing.
• Support recycling and general production operations.
• Move and handle materials around the work area.
• Pack, wrap and palletise as needed.
• Check materials meet quality standards and record production information.
