Our Day Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the day operation in our New Belfast Depot, managing a team of Warehouse Operatives, Parcel Shop staff, and Cat C Drivers.

We seek a Day Shift Manager who can motivate staff, prioritize effectively, and think creatively to solve problems. Logistics experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates from related fields. You should be able to work collaboratively and lead projects among peers.

1. Manage a team of direct reports and up to 50 indirect reports, providing leadership and direction for the shift
2. Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are met for the day shift
3. Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations
4. Generate and process BI and MI reports based on work output of drivers and loaders
5. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Essential skills and experience required:

1. Management experience of leading and managing a team
2. Ability to work independently in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
4. Experience in fast-paced logistics environments
5. Understanding of transport regulations
6. Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels
