Job summary

Coverage Care Services Ltd is seeking a Day Shift Leader - Relief to join our senior care team in Newport. You will support delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, following individual care plans and supervising daily living activities for residents.

The role requires caring, sensitive staff with NVQ Level 3 (or Level 2 progressing to 3). We offer a competitive salary, weekend enhancements, training opportunities, and a two-week rolling rota, including alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience of caring for others in a care setting is essential.
• Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Level 2 and be working towards Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team and oversee daily living activities in line with care plans.
• Undertake personal care and administer medication as required.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Day Shift Leader - Relief (Variable hours)We are looking for caring, sensitive, compassionate individuals to join our senior care team to support the delivery of a high quality service to our service users, enhancing their quality of life, whilst promoting independence. We provide person centered care which starts with a care plan for every resident. Documented in this are all the daily living activities needs and preferences; therefore your duties will include; ensuring the welfare of the residents and their needs in line with care plans, leading the care team, undertake personal care, administering medication, and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
