Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for our Bellshill depot. This permanent role offers Monday to Friday daytime shifts with a pay rate of £15.28 per hour and overtime after 39 hours at time and a half.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and ensure loads are secure and correctly documented. The ideal candidate holds a C+E licence, valid DigiTacho and CPC, with previous Class 1 experience, and can communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence required (class 1).
• Valid Driver CPC certification.
• Digital Tachograph (DigiTacho) qualification.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 18 kg and handle manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy with all daily checks completed.
• Load correct goods and secure them before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely, legal manner.
• Double check deliveries with customers and provide a polite, helpful experience.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork before returning to depot.
