Job summary

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Dalkeith / Newtongrange. This is a dayshift role with a consistent schedule and competitive pay.

The role involves multi-drop deliveries across Scotland, loading and unloading as required, and completing paperwork on handheld devices. Overtime is paid after 8 hours; start time is 9:00am, Monday to Friday.

Ideal for an experienced Class 1/LGV/C+E driver seeking reliable hours and ongoing work with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries across Scotland
• Loading and unloading goods where required
• Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule
• Completing all relevant paperwork and using handheld devices where required
• Complying with all Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Road Traffic Regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service
