Job summary

Greencore operates a Newark, Nottinghamshire site manufacturing chilled desserts and goods. You will join a fast-paced production team as a Machine Technician on day shifts, ensuring GMP, CCP documentation, and continuous line efficiency.

Training and development are available within a large multinational group. The role requires prior manufacturing experience, leadership potential, and strong numerical English skills.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
• Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Good English and Maths understanding.

Responsibilities

• Record CCP and traceability for finished products.
• Prepare workstations at shift start for production.
• Operate and monitor lines and equipment like checkweighers and metal detectors.
• Supervise small teams of 2–5 operatives.
• Assist with training and buddying new staff.
