Job summary

Staffpower Group is seeking a Counterbalance FLT Operator for a 40-hour-per-week day shift in Gateshead. The role involves operating a Counterbalance FLT, handling goods in and finished goods, loading/unloading vehicles and maintaining stock records to support efficient warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate has prior counterbalance FLT experience and a valid qualification, with warehouse or manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience and a valid/recent FLT qualification.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
• Flexi Forklift experience advantageous; plastics industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counterbalance FLT operation.
• Goods In and Finished Goods duties.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Stock control and warehouse organisation.
• Preparing materials and finished products.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety.
• Working to company quality and BRC standards.
