Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Day Shift Electrician to cover a large tourist attraction in South West London. You will be a qualified electrician with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, capable of working to high standards on a live site.

The role offers a salary up to £45,000 per annum, overtime opportunities, 22 days holiday, and progression across projects. You will perform lighting, emergency lighting, minor installations and monitor the BMS system.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates (essential).
• Experience with lighting, emergency lighting and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Lighting maintenance including fault-finding and ballast changes.
• Emergency lighting maintenance and testing.
• Minor installation work on electrical systems.
• BMS system monitoring and reporting faults.
• Maintain H&S compliance and communicate with client staff.

Day Shift Electrician – FM Service Provider - Tourist Attraction - South West London - Up to £45,000

CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Electrician to cover a large tourist attraction located in South West London. The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of up to £45,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information

• 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 07:00 am to 19:00pm/ 10:00 am to 22:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Minor installation work
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.Hot & Colds)
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
