Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Day Shift Electrician for a large tourist attraction in South West London. The role requires a qualified electrician with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, offering a salary up to £45,000 and opportunities for training and progression.

The position features 2 on 2 off or 3 on 3 off shifts, 07:00–19:00 or 10:00–22:00, with generous overtime and a focus on safety, service quality, and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification level 2/3 (C&G, NVQ etc) with certificates.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.

Responsibilities

• Handle lighting installation, fault-finding, ballast changes and power distribution.
• Maintain emergency lighting and minor installation work.
• Monitor BMS system and report faults.
• Escort subcontractors and uphold health and safety standards.
• Communicate with client staff and site management.

Day Shift Electrician – FM Service Provider - Tourist Attraction - South West London - Up to £45,000

CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Electrician to cover a large tourist attraction located in South West London. The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of up to £45,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information

• 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 07:00 am to 19:00pm/ 10:00 am to 22:00 pm
• up to £45,000 per annum

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Minor installation work
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements
