Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Day Shift Electrician for a large tourist attraction in South West London. The role requires a qualified electrician with a track record in commercial building maintenance, offering up to £45,000 per annum plus training and career progression.

Typical hours are 07:00–19:00 or 10:00–22:00 with a 2-on/2-off and 3-on/3-off pattern and ample overtime. Benefits include 22 days holiday, uniform and tools, cycle-to-work scheme, and regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with Level 2/3 (C&G, NVQ)
• 18th Edition wiring regs knowledge
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lighting and related electrical work including ballast changes
• Emergency lighting maintenance and testing
• Minor installation work and power distribution
• Monitor and respond to BMS-system-related issues (hot & cold)
• Identify and report faults in building services equipment
• Ensure health & safety requirements are met and reported
• Coordinate with client staff on service levels and issues
• Escalate issues to site management and client reps
• Be flexible with site attendance and tasks within competency
• Escort subcontractors on site

Day Shift Electrician – FM Service Provider - Tourist Attraction - South West London - Up to £45,000

CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Electrician to cover a large tourist attraction located in South West London. The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of up to £45,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information

• 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 07:00 am to 19:00pm/ 10:00 am to 22:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Minor installation work
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements

• Electrical qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
• 18th Edition
• Installation experience
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
