Manpower has an exciting opportunity for Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our client in Falkirk with an immediate start. This temp ongoing role offers day shift hours, weekly pay and overtime potential, and a stable manufacturing environment.

As a Counterbalance Forklift Operator you will support production and material handling, move raw materials and finished goods, load/unload vehicles, and help maintain high housekeeping and safety standards while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance B1 forklift licence (must be in date).
• B1 licence must cover operation up to 5 tonne capacity.
• Experience in a small/medium manufacturing environment.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Reliable, team-focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physical, hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely across the plant.
• Moving raw materials, pallets and finished goods around the site.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Supplying production lines with materials.
• Support manufacturing processes including batching, mixing and general plant duties.
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or irregularities.
• Completing basic quality checks and recording production data.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas.
• Following all site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
