Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our client in Falkirk with an immediate start. This temporary ongoing role offers long-term stability, consistent day-shift hours and the chance to develop within a well-established manufacturing operation.

As a Counterbalance Forklift Operator, you will support daily production and material handling across the site, ensuring a safe, efficient working environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance B1 forklift licence (in date).
• Licence must cover operation up to 5 tonne capacity.
• Experience in a small/medium manufacturing environment.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.
• Reliable, team-focused with good communication.
• Able to work in a physical hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely across the plant.
• Move raw materials, pallets and finished goods around the site.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Supply production lines with materials.
• Support manufacturing processes including batching and loading.
• Monitor machinery and report faults or irregularities.
• Complete basic quality checks and record production data.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and follow safety procedures.
• Work as part of a small team to meet daily production targets.

Mon-Thu: 08:30-18:00
Fri: 08:00-17:30

About the Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Operator, you will support daily production and material?handling activities across the site, ensuring a safe, efficient and well organised working environment. Working closely with Plant Supervisors, you will help control site operations, machinery and materials to maintain smooth output and high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely across the plant
• Moving raw materials, pallets and finished goods around the site
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Supplying production lines with materials
• Supporting manufacturing processes including batching, mixing, loading and general plant duties
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or irregularities
• Completing basic quality checks and recording production data
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas
• Following all site safety procedures, PPE requirements and compliance rules
• Working as part of a small team to meet daily production targets

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance B1 forklift licence (must be in date)
• B1 licence must cover operation up to 5 tonne capacity
• Experience working in a small or medium?scale manufacturing or production environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• Reliable, team?focused attitude with good communication skills
• Ability to work in a physical, hands?on role
