Job summary

Autism Together is a charity and service provider seeking compassionate Day Service Support Workers to join our Wirral team. You will support adults with autism to develop skills, independence and confidence through a wide range of person-centred activities.

With fully paid induction training and access to professional qualifications, you will be part of a warm, supportive team committed to high-quality care and positive outcomes for each person we support.

Qualifications

• Must pass a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
• A passion for providing high-quality support and care.
• Must be patient, inspiring, and sensitive to the needs of vulnerable people.
• Ability to motivate others.
• A passion for a career in the care sector.
• Experience or enjoyment of working in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to adults with autism in a person-centred environment.
• Facilitate activities including arts, crafts, swimming, gym, farming and community outings.
• Support development of skills, independence and confidence in participants.
• Work as part of a warm, friendly team delivering high-quality care.
