Job summary

Hertfordshire County Council is recruiting for a Day Service Senior Support Worker to provide person-centred support in Day Centres across Hertfordshire. The role drives daily programmes, coordinates with families, health professionals and agencies, and ensures safe medication duties are carried out by the team.

You will lead on individual support plans, apply a positive risk approach, and work across multiple sites including Leyden House, Nightingale House, and Welwyn & Hatfield.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Day Service Support Worker.
• RQF Level 2 award or equivalent.
• We will support you with the required training.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily programmes and communicate changes to senior staff.
• Develop and implement individual service user support plans and liaise with families and health professionals.
• Role includes liaison with social workers and other agencies.
• Undertake medication duties including administration and recording, supervising others where appropriate.
