Hertfordshire County Council is recruiting a Day Service Senior Support Worker to provide person-centred support in day centres across Hertfordshire. The role focuses on leading daily programmes, developing personalised care plans and coordinating with families, health professionals and social care colleagues.
The position is permanent, with a starting salary of £27,694 rising to £32,046 per annum (pro rata for part-time).

You will work in Day Centres across Hertfordshire to support people with:
Essential: You need to have some experience as a Day Service Support Worker for this role and to hold an RQF Level 2 award or equivalent - we will support you with all additional the training you need.
Our services require supporting individuals with personal care including bathroom support, mobility aids, and dietary needs (training provided). This includes the use of moving and handling equipment, so it's important that you're physically capable of performing these tasks safely and effectively.
