Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to support residents across our care home. You will assist with personal care, respond to wellbeing needs, and liaise with GPs and nurses to maintain high-quality health support, safety and dignity for each resident.

Qualifications

• QCF diploma in social care level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication.
• Understanding the importance of confidentiality.
• Experience of providing care.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to efficient running of the Home.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone; greet visitors.
• Liaise with GP's, District Nurses, Chiropodists to meet healthcare needs.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GP's District Nurses, Chiropodists etc.

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Experience of providing care
