Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking an Activities Assistant to enrich the daily lives of our residents across our 26 care homes in England. You will explore ideas for creative activities, arrange group or individual sessions, advertise and promote the programme, and take part in fundraising events.

To apply you will understand residents' needs, uphold confidentiality, and demonstrate experience in organising activities. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

As an Activities Assistant, you will:

• Explore ways and resources for creative and enjoyable activities for our residents
• Arranging group events or individual sessions, Advertise and promote the planned programme to encourage involvement of residents, relatives and colleagues
• Participate in fundraising events
• Planning theme event nights

• An understanding of the needs of residents (Essential)
