Qualifications

• Willingness to follow supervisor instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct amount of clean linen in assigned cupboards.
• Keep areas free of dirty linen and rubbish.
• Clean and maintain fixtures, fittings, and balconies as instructed.
• Clean and maintain service areas, corridors, lobby, lifts and pictures.
• Turn mattresses on assigned floors every three months.
• Spot-clean furniture, carpets and upholstery when requested.
• Report any damaged items to the Supervisor.

Job description

Stamford Bridge Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Porter, responsible for keeping the assigned areas, equipment, appearance and uniform clean and in order. Maintain linen supplies and ensure sufficient are available for daily operations. To maintain required productivity and required standards in Housekeeping Department

AHousekeeping Porter willbe responsible for:

• Ensuring there is correct amount of clean linen in assigned cupboards.
• Keeping areas always clean of dirty linen and rubbish.
• Cleaning and changing any fixtures and fittings as instructed by Supervisor, including the cleaning of balconies.
• Cleaning and maintaining service areas, corridors, lobby lifts, wall lights and pictures in assigned areas.
• Be responsible for the changing of heavy curtains, net curtains, shower curtains and valances, when requested.
• Turning mattresses in each room on assigned floor every three months.
• Spot cleaning furniture, carpets and upholstery when requested by Supervisor.
• Collecting bedding and stores when requested by the Supervisor.
• Reporting any soiled or damaged furniture, fixtures, fittings, and equipment to the Supervisor.
