Job summary

Hft is seeking a compassionate Day Opportunities Manager to lead community-based day services for adults with learning disabilities. You will manage multiple locations, promote dignity and well-being, and develop person-centered plans to unlock independence.

You will drive training, compliance, and service growth while collaborating with local authorities and partners to create meaningful activities and outcomes. A proactive, inclusive leader with driving access is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing day services for people with learning disabilities.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop the team.
• Proactive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulations in care services.
• Great communication with team and external partners.
• Valid driving licence and own transport for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of day opportunities services across multiple locations.
• Work with the team to provide care that promotes dignity, independence and well-being.
• Support the development of person-focused plans to help individuals reach their full potential.
