Job summary

Hft is seeking a compassionate Day Opportunities Manager to lead community-based day services for adults with learning disabilities. You will manage multiple locations, promote dignity and well-being, and develop person-centered plans to unlock independence.

You will drive training, compliance, and service growth while collaborating with local authorities and partners to create meaningful activities and outcomes. A proactive, inclusive leader with driving access is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing day services for people with learning disabilities.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop the team.
  • Proactive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulations in care services.
  • Great communication with team and external partners.
  • Valid driving licence and own transport for regional travel.

You'll lead a team delivering engaging, community-based day services for the people we support, making sure everything we offer is safe, inclusive, and well led.

In this role, You'll:

  • Lead the delivery of day opportunities services across multiple locations
  • Work with the team to provide care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being

  • Lead and support a team that's dedicated to creating meaningful activities and outcomes
  • Work with local authorities and other partners to identify new business opportunities and grow our services

What We're Looking For
