Job summary

Hft is seeking a Day Opportunities Manager to lead a team delivering both community-based and building-based day services for the people we support.

You’ll ensure services are safe, inclusive and well led, helping individuals connect with their communities, develop new skills and live more independent lives.

The role requires strong leadership, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults with autism across day services, supported living, or residential care environments.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop your team.
  • Proactive attitude and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulations in care services.
  • Excellent communication with team and external partners.
  • Valid driving license and own transport for regional travel.
  • Experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) would be advantageous.

You’ll lead a team delivering engaging both community-based and building based day services for the people we support, making sure everything we offer is safe, inclusive, and well led.

What We’re Looking For
