Job summary

Rainbows is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Daventry to support a busy charity shop. The role involves assisting the Store Manager, supervising staff and volunteers, and delivering excellent customer service while helping to achieve income and profit targets.

You will help promote campaigns, maximise donations, and ensure a well-presented shop. Salary is pro rata for 15 hours weekly, with a rota system to cover varied days.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
• Confidence working towards financial targets and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Manage and support volunteers and staff, ensuring a welcoming shop.
• Assist with promotions and seasonal campaigns.
• Maximise donations and maintain stock flow.
• Promote Gift Aid and oversee collection/delivery coordination.
