Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale Data & AI transformation programmes.
• Hands-on design of production-grade Databricks solutions (data engineering, AI, governance).
• Experience defining enterprise data and machine learning architectures.
• Experience with Generative AI architectures, LLMOps, and RAG patterns.
• Delivery governance, risk management, and senior stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical strategy for large Databricks Data & AI programmes.
• Manage end-to-end delivery, mobilisation, resourcing, and financial oversight.
• Define end-to-end solution architectures across data, analytics and ML.
• Establish data models, governance, security, and cost-aware scaling.
• Design ML platforms, model lifecycle, and AI governance frameworks.
• Lead discovery engagements and governance across programmes.
• Provide architecture governance and design authority across multiple programmes.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate architecture into delivery.
• Define reusable patterns and accelerators for the Databricks ecosystem.
• Advise on technology strategy, cloud adoption, and operating models.
