Job summary

Nationwide is establishing a new Finance UAT & Enablement team to support large, complex change initiatives, including integration of Virgin Money and major transformation programmes. The role is hands-on, delivery-focused, and involves shaping test coverage and providing high-quality evidence in a regulated environment.

You will work with SMEs and business users, handling data-rich testing and ensuring solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications

• You are comfortable working with data-heavy test scenarios.
• Strong SQL experience including complex joins, subqueries and data reconciliation.
• Technical skills in data analysis/validation and automation scripting.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot).
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear test scenarios.
• Experience working with SMEs and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Scope and design test cases aligned to requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional and regression testing across change activity.
• Support UAT and logging/tracking of defects with clear updates on progress.
