Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a team member to manage Data Subject Access Requests and information rights within the Information Disclosure Team in Communications. You will work with UK GDPR, FOIA, and related legislation to prepare disclosures and explain information clearly.

You will liaise with business areas to gather information, ensure timely responses, and apply exemptions where appropriate while maintaining high-quality, accurate disclosures and staying up to date with evolving

Qualifications

• Experience handling Data Protection Rights requests under UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to apply ICO guidance and policies to make defensible decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Handle Data Subject Access Requests and information rights requests per UK GDPR and FCA policies.
• Manage a caseload to meet statutory deadlines and deliver accurate responses.
• Review records, apply exemptions, and perform redactions where needed.
