Qualifications

• Experience handling DSARs under UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to apply legislation and ICO guidance to make defensible decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex issues.
• Capable of handling a high-volume caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Experience reviewing large volumes of information with redactions.
• Attention to detail and sound judgement in information reviews.
• Stakeholder management across teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle Subject Access Requests and information rights requests per UK GDPR and FCA policies.
• Manage a caseload effectively and meet statutory deadlines.
• Review, assess and prepare information for disclosure with exemptions/redactions.
• Liaise with business areas to obtain information and ensure timely, accurate responses.
• Draft clear written responses for requesters and stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with data protection developments and share knowledge across the organisation.
• Support evolving team priorities including FOI requests and executive correspondence.
