Boots is seeking a Data Scientist in Nottingham on a 12 Month Fixed Term contract. You will join the Data Science Innovation team to build predictive models and analytics across customer behaviour, demand forecasting, segmentation and personalisation.

You'll turn complex business questions into practical data science solutions, deploying models into production and collaborating across Boots to drive value for customers and colleagues.

Formación

• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong statistical methods knowledge and experience applying ML in a business context.
• Programming with Python and libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems.
• Confident presenting complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation to balance operational activity and development work.

Responsabilidades

• Build predictive models for demand forecasting, customer segmentation and recommendations.
• Provide deep analytics across business areas and turn data into insights.
• Develop and deploy ML models into production environments.
• Apply statistical techniques to answer business questions and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Boots teams to shape solutions and communicate outputs clearly.
• Stay current with emerging data science techniques and best practices.
• Help develop the team's data science capability and methods.
