Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to help build and deploy machine learning solutions for a major UK retailer. You will work closely with the Data Science Lead and stakeholders to scale data science across the organisation and drive engagement and commercial performance.

You will contribute to the full lifecycle from problem definition to deployment, developing segmentation, CLV, forecasting, and personalisation initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning models across customer and commercial use cases

• Support loyalty programme personalisation and campaign optimisation initiatives

A major UK retail business is investing heavily in its Data & AI capabilities and is building a scalable Data Science function to support the next phase of growth. With a new customer loyalty programme launching this year, there is significant demand for predictive modelling, personalisation, forecasting, and customer analytics.

As a Mid-Level Data Scientist, you'll work closely with the Data Science Lead and wider business stakeholders to develop and deploy machine learning solutions that directly impact customer engagement and commercial performance. You'll play a key role in helping scale Data Science across the organisation as the team continues to mature.
