Job summary

Enfield Council is seeking a Data Science and Technical Lead within the Data & Intelligence team in the People Department. The role focuses on health and social care data, SQL, Python, and Power BI to drive insights and statutory reporting across children’s social care, education, and adult services.

You will lead data integration, ensure data quality and timely reporting, and work with diverse stakeholders to inform strategic direction for the People directorate.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and reporting programmes such as SQL, Business Objects, Power BI and preferably Python.
• Experience with health and social care data and statutory returns processes.
• Ability to communicate insights to a wide range of stakeholders and to lead data projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead linking various data sources in SQL, Python and Power BI.
• Produce management information and statutory returns for the People directorate.
• Develop, test and improve data processes and reporting for service improvement.
• Collaborate with children’s services, education and adult social care teams.
