Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (NW) LTD is seeking a Settlements Analyst to join our Manchester-based team. You will validate financial data, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting across the business.

You will review invoices and costs, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve data issues. The role emphasizes data quality, cleansing, and producing regular MI to support decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills including IF statements, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with teams across the business.
• Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with large data sets and comfort with data quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and validating invoices, costs, and financial data to ensure accuracy.
• Carrying out detailed reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
• Working with internal departments to identify and resolve data inaccuracies.
• Taking ownership of data quality and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Completing data cleansing, processing, and analysis across a range of business information.
• Producing regular reports and management information to support business decisions.
• Supporting the development of internal systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve data performance.
• Providing monthly reporting packs and analysis to senior management.
