Job summary

QBE Insurance Group in London is seeking a Data Quality Lead to drive the end-to-end data quality initiative, supporting the organisation's modernisation through data governance and risk management. The role focuses on building a central, governed DQIM process and maturing data quality capabilities across key assets.

You will own the DQ Issue portfolio, balance analyst capacity, coordinate remediation with business and IT, and provide clear reporting while advancing the Data Quality target

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Quality, Data Management or data governance with complex remediation experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance capabilities.
• Ability to translate data quality problems into business actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end DQ Issue Management process from capture to closure.
• Maintain oversight of the central DQ Issues queue and reporting.
• Prioritise Analyst capacity based on risk and priority.
• Coordinate remediation across business and technology teams.
• Ensure escalation groups are established for DQ Issues.
• Drive root-cause analysis and address underlying causes.
• Develop business cases for complex remediation requiring investment.
• Provide reporting on DQ Issue portfolio including risks and ageing.
• Drive continuous improvement of DQ processes and governance.
