Data Quality Analyst Role

The management, integrity, and maintenance of data across our systems are incredibly important to us and our clients. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will analyze data to identify gaps by reviewing practices and associated data, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with subject matter experts to provide explanations, clarifications, and solutions.

Sitting within the Data Governance function, you will engage with stakeholders to drive data quality improvements from identification to resolution.

  1. Examine and test datasets for integrity, accuracy, and quality.
  2. Assist in remediating M365 data quality issues.
  3. Oversee system design and its impact on performance and quality.
  4. Create and present data analysis reports to decision-makers and senior leaders.
  5. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  6. Collaborate with data owners and stewards to address data quality issues and plan remediation.
  7. Understand data and user needs to assess the impact of changes comprehensively.
  8. Maintain accurate data records and document quality controls, policies, and procedures.
  9. Support wider Data Governance activities as needed.

To succeed in this role, experience with some of the following is desirable:

  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, proactive in identifying and addressing needs
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable representing company culture and leading meetings with data owners
  • Ability to identify creative solutions to problems
  • Ownership and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Power BI and SQL is a plus but not mandatory
