Job summary

IC24 is seeking a Data Protection Manager to lead information governance, data protection and information security across the organisation. You will work with senior leaders and clinical colleagues to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

You will oversee SARs, FOIs, DPIAs and information sharing, advise on complex data protection matters and drive improvements with IT and security teams. Experience in NHS or regulated healthcare environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Data Protection, Information Governance, Freedom of Information or Cyber Security.
• Holds a recognised Data Protection or Information Governance qualification (or is actively working towards one).
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, data protection legislation and information governance frameworks.
• Experience in NHS, healthcare or another highly regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and provide practical advice to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with risk assessment ability.
• Builds strong relationships and drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
