Job summary

Pertemps Thames Water is seeking a proactive Data Protection Administrator to support day-to-day operations within the Data Protection function. You will provide administrative support, maintain records, manage trackers, and assist with information requests.

The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team. The position is based at our Swindon office, runs Monday to Friday (36 hours), and is a fixed-term contract/secondment for 3 months.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in customer facing roles.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming emails and correspondence, directing queries appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases in line with company policies.
  • Log and maintain data protection trackers (SAR and EIR).
  • Extract and combine information for information requests.
  • Work closely with the wider team to manage and elevate risks, complaints or data breaches.
  • Support the production of data protection related standards and guidance documents.
  • Respond to data protection queries.
  • Action requests for calls.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations within our Data Protection function. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative support across the department, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

What you'll be doing as a Data Protection Administrator
  • Manage incoming emails and correspondence, directing queries appropriately.

Base location - Newbridge Square Swindon office
Working pattern - Monday to Friday 36 hours
This is a fixed term contract/secondment for 3 months
What you should bring to the role
