Optical Express in Glasgow is seeking a Data Protection Administrator to handle subject access requests and data inquiries under GDPR regulations. You will report to the Data Protection Officer and collaborate with our in-house Legal team, liaising with stakeholders as needed.
Training in data protection and SAR response can be provided if required. The role involves ensuring timely, accurate responses and maintaining data request trackers to support compliance and patient care.
Hours of Work - Mon - Friday 9am - 5.30pm (40 Hrs pw)

As the Data Protection Administrator, you will be responsible for handling data requests under relevant Data Protection Regulations. You will report into the Data Protection Officer and Patient Care Manager in conjunction with our in-house Legal team. You will also liaise with additional internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and seeking relevant input on individual data request cases when required.
Previous experience of working within a data protection framework would be preferred; however, full training in data protection and responding to subject access requests can be provided if required.
