Job summary

Wales & West Utilities Limited in Newport is seeking a Product Owner to manage the full data product lifecycle, define the vision, prioritise backlog, and drive delivery and continuous improvement. You will ensure business, user and organisational needs are met through effective change delivery.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to maximise value of data products, translate requirements into features, measure outcomes, and support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Advanced Certified Product Owner or willingness to achieve within 6 months.
• Experience of motivating others to deliver business change
• Delivered programme-level change initiatives
• Developed strategic initiatives into Agile change programmes
• Experience of delivering business cases and tracking benefits
• Experience of engaging key stakeholders to determine current and future value
• Experience of measuring product performance and demonstrating return on investment and business outcomes

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision and roadmap ensuring alignment with business priorities and organisational objectives
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and shape products that address business needs.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and leverage data and analytics capabilities to improve business processes, performance, and customer outcomes.
• Prioritise backlog items based on business value, user needs and strategic objectives
