Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Data Product Owner to drive publishing data offerings that empower insights and decision-making. You will own the roadmap, backlog and delivery of data warehouse tables, schemas and pipelines to meet business goals.

You will partner with analytics, engineering and business teams across the organisation, translate requirements into epics and user stories, and ensure data quality, governance and timely releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology product management or product ownership with roadmaps, backlog, and delivery.
• Experience with data products, data management or analytics solutions to deliver business value.
• Strong SQL skills and working with structured data, data pipelines or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience applying Agile product management, including writing user stories and backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage publishing data products, roadmap, backlog and delivery of data warehouse tables, schemas and pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts and product teams to define data needs and requirements.
• Translate business needs into epics and user stories, coordinating with data engineering and architecture teams.
• Monitor and improve data quality, communicating changes and trends to stakeholders.
• Support data governance and adoption across Wiley.
