Job description

We're seeking a Data Product Manager for our Consultancy Business

The Team

We're Intuita - an ambitious, fast-growing consultancy making waves in both the consultancy and technology space.
With ambitious goals for 2025 and beyond, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team of experts, becoming a pivotal part of our journey to not just meet but exceed our client expectations!

The Role

To achieve our ambitions, we're hiring a Data Product Manager to support and drive our client focus.

Are you ready to be the driving force behind our clients' data products?
Intuita is looking for a Data Product Manager to join our Consultancy team. The aim of this role is to be at the forefront of helping our clients develop their data strategy, ensuring their products are innovative, valuable, and aligned with their mission and vision to transform business outcomes through better data management and analysis.

At Intuita, we believe in delivering outstanding value to our clients through our mission to define, deliver, and support clear, value-focused, and efficient data product implementations. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, data-driven product owner to make their mark within an established team of consultants who are passionate about data and its power for our clients.

As the Data Product Manager, you'll manage relationships between clients, stakeholders, technical teams, and business sponsors, ensuring client needs for data products are understood and met.

Your responsibilities include defining and owning the product roadmap, aligning it with strategic goals, and ensuring development is business-led and future-proofed. You'll serve as the main contact for product support, queries, and partner with stakeholders to understand needs and prioritize technical requirements. Your role involves managing a backlog of user stories, coordinating releases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business objectives and technological benefits. You'll also identify user needs, demonstrate business value, and understand data integration and dependencies.

We're seeking a qualified professional with experience as a Data Product Owner or Manager, with a strong background in Data Management, Architecture, Strategy, and Migration. Experience working with Data Engineers, Visualisation Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Data Modellers is essential.

You should have demonstrated stakeholder management at a senior level, with excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Within this role, you can expect to:

  • Aid clients in developing and articulating a clear, compelling vision
  • Manage client and project roadmaps aligned with business objectives, focusing on delivery quality
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment on priorities
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap based on strategic direction
  • Triangulate various requirements and work with stakeholders to bring solutions to life
  • Use a data-led approach to measure team velocity, efficiency, and progress
  • Strategize opportunities for clients by analyzing their data
  • Apply a product mindset to data solutions, focusing on user needs and value delivery

A bit about you

Being a consultant at Intuita means something different; we hire like-minded people. We see ourselves as trusted partners to our clients, valuing transparency, quality, and integrity. We emphasize collaboration and teamwork, working together to solve problems and share learnings.

As a Data Product Manager, you will bring your personality and approach, working hands-on and client-facing. We look for candidates with:

  • A strong understanding of business needs and maximizing data use
  • Experience with digital or data initiatives as a Product Owner, managing the full product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with data practices including architecture, engineering, analytics, modelling, visualisation, and governance
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for basic analysis
  • Experience with product management tools like backlog management, road-mapping, and prototyping
  • A passion for data, with knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling being advantageous

Required Characteristics

  • Ownership and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with stakeholders and development teams
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Quick understanding of client contexts and demonstrating expertise

We encourage interested candidates to apply even if they don't meet every criterion—we hire people, not just job specs!

What's in it for you?

  • Salary: circa £65,000 - £85,000 per annum DOE or contractor day rates, to be discussed
  • Flexible and remote working: We trust you to work when, where, and how it suits you
  • Health and wellbeing support: Free therapy, financial education, birthday treats, and more
  • Training and growth opportunities: Be surrounded by experts, encouraged to develop
  • Ownership and empowerment: Own problems and explore ideas
  • Supportive team environment: Socials, Slack chats, and a friendly atmosphere
  • Dog-friendly offices: We love dogs and have made our offices pet-friendly

Our permanent hires also enjoy additional benefits, a supportive environment, and opportunities to thrive.
