Technical Product Manager (Data and AI) Remote, UK

3t is currently looking to recruit a Technical Product Manager (Data and AI) on a permanent contract. This is a remote role, however there will be some expectation to attend client meetings, workshops, team meetings, etc.

The Role

As a Technical Product Manager (Data and AI) at 3t Digital, you will work across teams to ensure our product is developed efficiently, providing value and support to our customers. You will report to the Head of Product, collaborating with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands. The product team includes a head of product, two product managers, and a UX designer.

Responsibilities

  1. Roadmap Development and Data Strategy: Contribute to the development of a detailed product roadmap for our reporting dashboard, based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities. Gather feedback, analyze data, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Explore AI-driven insights and predictive analytics.
  2. Feature Definition & Prioritisation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define, refine, and prioritise reporting features. Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage the backlog. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  3. Agile Development Process: Participate in Agile ceremonies, track progress, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
  4. Customer Advocacy: Understand customer needs, monitor tool usage, and identify improvement opportunities.
  5. Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to keep the product competitive and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager or similar in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong experience with data/reporting and building dashboards from scratch.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills, translating technical concepts into customer-focused requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience with Power BI or similar tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Generative AI / Machine Learning algorithms for data analysis and content generation.
  • Experience in the energy sector or education/compliance industries.
  • Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Retool, etc.
  • Background in UX/UI design and customer experience optimization.
