Job summary

Openwork Limited seeks a Data Operations Analyst to support the Data Operations team by providing high-quality, trusted information to inform decisions and performance assessment. You will create Power BI and Excel reports, work with semantic layers, and analyse large datasets to explore new data outputs.

Stakeholder collaboration and data quality are essential. The hybrid Swindon role offers a 3-days-per-week on-site schedule with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on data analytics

Qualifications

• Regular reporting and data visualisation in Power BI and Excel.
• Use productionised datasets to develop semantic layers.
• Manipulate and analyse large data sets for new outputs and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and set expectations.
• Assist in identifying data gaps and deficiencies in analytical capabilities.
• Set MI reporting policies and Power BI standards; contribute to security model.
• Build relationships across Openwork Partnership for successful delivery.
• Coding knowledge/experience is preferred.
• Interest or experience in data visualisations is ideal.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular reporting and data visualisation in Power BI and Excel for MI/BI consumers.
• Utilise productionised datasets to develop semantic layers for development.
• Analyse large data sets to sandbox potential outputs and inform production needs.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and set delivery expectations.
• Identify data deficiencies and gaps in analytical capabilities.
• Set reporting policies and Power BI standards; support security model.
• Build strong relationships across the Openwork Partnership to ensure delivery.
