Job summary

CPS Group (UK) Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst in Cardiff, with hybrid working (1 day per week in the office) and a salary up to £50,000 plus annual bonus. The role blends data analysis, data modelling, reporting and elements of data engineering to grow the organisation’s analytics capability.

You will design and optimise analytical data models, develop data pipelines, and deliver Power BI dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Commercial experience in a Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer role.
Strong SQL skills and experience with modern analytic data environments.
Experience designing and maintaining analytical data models (fact/dimension tables).
Hands-on experience with data pipelines, transformations and queries.
Experience delivering Power BI dashboards to non-technical users.
Understanding of data quality, documentation and governance.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain analytical data models (fact and dimension tables).
Develop and optimise data pipelines, transformations and SQL queries for reliable datasets.
Support data quality, integrity, traceability and documentation across environments.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
Translate business requirements into analytical metrics, measures and visuals.
Support data integration from multiple systems into analytical environments.
