Job summary

Goresbrook School is seeking an experienced Data Manager to lead and develop our data systems and reporting processes. You will ensure pupil and staff data accuracy, security and accessibility, working closely with senior leaders and external stakeholders to support outstanding pupil outcomes.

The role includes managing the MIS (Arbor preferred), coordinating assessment data collection and reporting cycles, supporting statutory returns and census submissions, and providing training for staff on

Qualifications

• Significant experience with school data systems, ideally Arbor.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and data reporting.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and development of the MIS and data systems.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity and security of pupil and staff data.
• Produce timely and accurate reports for senior leaders, trustees and external agencies.
• Manage assessment data collection, analysis and reporting cycles.
• Support statutory returns and census submissions.
• Provide training and support for staff in the use of school data systems.
• Develop efficient processes and reporting tools to support school improvement.
