Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates seeks a Data Migration Engineer to own end-to-end migration execution from preparation through validation. You will deliver hands-on migrations across Google Workspace and M365 and maintain oversight of the broader operational picture.

Active SC clearance is required, with strong scripting ability in PowerShell and a proven track record coordinating large data migration projects in cloud environments. Hybrid working across London, Bristol or Manchester is offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on end-to-end migration delivery experience
• Experience coordinating large-scale data migrations across Google Workspace and M365

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of migration jobs from preparation through staging, batching, execution and validation
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain an operational overview and ensure successful migrations
• Debug, run and coordinate large-scale migration jobs across Google Workspace and M365 environments
• Develop and use PowerShell scripts to automate repeatable migration tasks

About the role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of migration jobs from preparation through staging, batching, execution, and validation.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Data Migration Engineer support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience of hands-on Data Migration Engineer who takes ownership of end-to-end job execution while maintaining oversight of the broader operational picture.
• Experience of Google Workspace & M365.
• Knowledgeable about Data and all aspects of Migration.
• Notable hands-on experience setting up, running, debugging, and coordinating large-scale data migration jobs across Google Workspace and M365 environments.
• PowerShell scripting experience
