Job summary

The role focuses on end-to-end migration execution, covering preparation, staging, batching, execution and validation in a hybrid setup across London, Bristol or Manchester.

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a Data Migration Engineer for an initial twelve‑month assignment with the option to extend.

Location:

Hybrid working - London, Bristol or Manchester

About the role:

You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of migration jobs from preparation through staging, batching, execution, and validation.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Data Migration Engineer support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience of hands‑on Data Migration Engineer who takes ownership of end‑to‑end job execution while maintaining oversight of the broader operational picture.
• Experience of Google Workspace & M365.
• Knowledgeable about Data and all aspects of Migration.
• Notable hands‑on experience setting up, running, debugging, and coordinating large‑scale data migration jobs across Google Workspace and M365 environments.
• PowerShell scripting experience.
