Alt Legal is seeking a Data Migration and Onboarding Specialist in the UK to manage client onboarding and data migration projects. The role focuses on data transformation, analysis, and meticulous handling of large datasets, with a strong emphasis on spreadsheet work and stakeholder communications.

You will coordinate CSV importer development with engineers, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely, high-quality onboarding from handoff to completion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data/implementation-focused SaaS or web solutions.
• 2+ years' experience working from home.
• Strong Excel skills: sorting, filtering, VLOOKUPs.
• SQL/database experience.
• Experience with CSMs like Vitally or ChurnZero.
• Attention to detail and strong communication.
• Project management experience handling multiple migrations.
• IP experience is a plus not required.

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Senior Data Migration and Onboarding Specialist; and the UK Project Manager, the Data Migration and Onboarding Specialist will manage various external and internal tasks. These primarily involve client data migration, along with its transformation, analysis, and overall management. You will handle client onboarding from initial handoff to its finalization. This role has a heavy emphasis on spreadsheet work, but you will also be asked to conduct client meetings and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

This position requires availability from Monday through Friday 9am-5:30pm BST.

As an internal data specialist, you will be helping customers and internal stakeholders solve their problems through the preparation of data analysis and effective communication.

Your specific responsibilities:

• Support new and existing customers and their onboarding of IP data
• Perform data mapping and manage complex datasets with high level of attention to detail
• Migrate customers' data into our preferred format
• Coordinate with relevant engineers/personnel to develop & implement a CSV importer process
• Coordinate and receive inputs needed from both customers and internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate customer records.
• Resolve issues directly or bring in other internal resources to ensure all customer issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction in a timely and careful manner.
• Stay current with system changes and updates.
• Work closely with customer success, product, and other internal team leads to improve customer experience

What we'd like to see in the ideal candidate:

• 4+ years' experience in data/implementation-focused role involving support of SaaS or professional web-based solutions
• 2+ years' experience working from home
• High proficiency in Excel (sorting/filtering, Vlookups)
• SQL / Database experience
• Experience with CSMs (e.g., Vitally/ChurnZero)
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and project management skills (managing multiple data migrations at once)
• Ability to recognize gaps in their own knowledge and seek instruction
• Ability to empathize with and advocate for our customers
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and teach others
• Good sense of humour and a love of nerdy things
• Intellectual property experience is desired, but it's not required to apply

Compensation

Between £40-50K based on experience.
