Job summary

Burns Sheehan is seeking a contract Business Analyst to support a data lake migration in London, with 1 day in the office every fortnight. This 6-month assignment starts ASAP and sits outside IR35.

You’ll bridge technical teams and business stakeholders, discover data needs, gather requirements, coordinate UAT through to sign-off, and ensure data, reports and applications are tested and signed off.

Qualifications

• Experience with data migration, analytics or cloud projects.
• Experience with UAT and business acceptance.
• Good understanding of Power BI, reporting and data dependencies.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Able to manage requirements, testing, defects and sign‑off.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be working between the technical teams and business stakeholders, helping to make sure the right data, reports and applications are identified, tested and signed off as part of the data lake migration.
• Hands-on data-focused Business Analyst who is comfortable running discovery, gathering requirements and coordinating UAT through to sign-off.
