Job summary

Merton Council is recruiting a Data, Performance and Insight Apprentice (Level 4 Apprenticeship) to join the Children, Lifelong Learning and Families Department in Greater London. You will gain a nationally recognised Level 4 qualification while supporting data collection, analysis and reporting to improve services for residents.

As part of the role you will help produce reports and dashboards, analyse data for trends, learn Power BI and Excel, and ensure data quality for statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Level 4 Apprenticeship with a focus on data, performance and insight.
• Strong numerical and IT skills.
• Organised, accurate and detail orientated.
• Able to communicate information clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of reports, dashboards and management information.
• Analyse data and identify trends to support service improvement.
• Learn to use tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Help ensure data quality and support statutory reporting requirements.
• Develop skills in performance management, business intelligence and data analysis.
