Job summary

interactive investor is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data and Innovation team in a hybrid role based in Manchester or Leeds, with three days on site and two days remote. The role focuses on turning complex data into clear insights to drive product optimisation, customer engagement and efficiency.

You will build dashboards, automate reports, and work with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and data-led strategies.

Qualifications

Strong analytics background in a digital/product context.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Data Studio).
Experience with Google Analytics/GA4 and Google Marketing Cloud tools.
Knowledge of statistical concepts, data modelling and architecture.
Experience with data science techniques and predictive modelling.
AI/ML platform proficiency as a power user.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Understanding of KPIs and success measures.
Experience in data projects.

Responsibilities

Analyse data from data lakes and sources to provide actionable insights for decisions and strategy.
Develop, maintain and automate BI/MI reports; champion automation of reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Technology, Customer Services and Operations to drive data-driven improvements.
Lead or contribute to KPI development and tracking across the company.
Utilise analytics platforms (SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, GA/Analytics, Optimizely, etc.) for in-depth analysis.
Apply data science techniques to understand customer behaviour and business impact.
Mentor team members and promote data governance and continuous learning.
Ensure data protection, privacy, and policy compliance across activities.
