Marchant Recruitment is seeking an experienced School Data Manager for a secondary school in Croydon. You will maintain the MIS, manage assessment data, and produce reports to support staff and senior leaders.

You will work with teaching staff and the senior leadership team to ensure data accuracy, security and effective use for monitoring progress and improving outcomes. The role focuses on data governance, reporting cycles and user support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a school data, examinations or MIS role.
• Strong knowledge of school MIS such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to analyse large data sets.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of data protection in education.
• Good communication with staff at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain the school's MIS, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Oversee collection, analysis and reporting of assessment, attainment and progress data.
• Produce reports and data analysis for senior leaders, heads of department and teaching staff.
• Coordinate data collection points, assessment cycles and reporting deadlines.
• Support examination entries, results analysis and performance reports.
• Ensure data handling complies with GDPR and school policies.
• Provide guidance and support to staff on data systems and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes, accuracy and efficiency.
