Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Data Services Specialist in Manchester to support data management across the business. You’ll improve data quality, oversee data governance and help transition from legacy systems to SAP, ensuring accurate data reviews in a control-focused environment.

You’ll work with data owners, deliver dashboards, and drive improvements while partnering with multiple teams. The role is hybrid with on-site office visits in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Experience of data processes and risk & controls in a business environment.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience supporting projects with changing priorities.
• Analytical problem-solving skills to identify data issues and solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, Excel, Pivot tables and Power BI.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to data owners ensuring timely delivery of high-quality information.
• Act as SME for data governance; establish requirements and assess data quality.
• Use triage processes to resolve data issues and feed fixes back to data owners.
• Drive data optimisation and process improvements with business partners.
• Deliver training and guidance to address recurring issues and promote best practice.
• Work with legacy systems and SAP to carry out data reviews and audits.
